This all-day session explores historical and current practices for managing and providing access to collections that have crossed borders using case studies from around the world. A closing panel will discuss a set of draft guidelines for libraries to consider when acquiring and managing books and collections that have crossed borders. Group discussion will be encouraged throughout the day.
